The latest Google Chrome update (42.0) wasn’t particularly pleasant for me. Trying to bookmark a site, instead of the usual interface I got this abomination:
What’s wrong with it? Well, I have more than five thousand bookmarks sorted into some few hundred folders. The new interface, by listing no more than four lines at a time in the folder selection dialog, makes the bookmarking business a major pain:
Fortunately, there is a way to disable this mess. Go to chrome://flags (clicking on this link will not work, but you can right-click on it, copy the link and paste it to your address bar manually) and set the Enable Enhanced Bookmarks
to Disabled

Relaunch Chrome and the good old interface for people with more than a couple of bookmarks is back:
