Site Rules is my personal blog, neither a mass media, nor public discussion platform.

Anyone can comment on the published content. The comment system is set up for the readers to discuss articles and posts, augment them with useful information, and point out factual errors and other problems. All comments not helping to achieve these aims are considered personal messages to the author and will be deleted after reading.

Everyone likes praise and I’m no exception here. Expressions of your agreement and gratitude are always welcome in the comments. Though, I consider these personal too and will delete them after reading. Thank you for your understanding.

English is not my native language. So if you see any mistakes or incorrect/weird usage of words and phrases, please let me know in the comments. I’ll be happy to correct myself.

I never plan to offend anyone. However, there are no taboo subjects for me at all. Everything and anything can be questioned and discussed here, including the most controversial and sensitive topics. If you find this policy inappropriate, or encounter an article offending for you, I recommend you to leave the site and refrain from visiting it again.

I encourage everyone to have respectful, calm and well-argued discussion. It is not recommended to leave:

  • Offending, rude, arrogant, or disrespectful comments.
  • Emotionally charged comments without much on-topic substance.
  • Off-topic comments.
  • Comments on topics mentioned by the “Apples of Discord” article, unless the opposite is clearly stated (e.g., “Let me know in the comments section your thoughts on the use of GMO in agriculture” at the end of the article).
  • Provocative comments (i.e. trolling).
  • Advertising of any kind.

I may, and most probably will delete such comments. I may premoderate comments of, or ban from commenting those who disregard these recommendations repeatedly. A single warning will always be issued before such actions.
